Diaper Decisions and The Jewels of Denial are excited to announce the first annual "Shirt Off My Back" Cloth Diaper Drive!

Thank you to all the participants in the July-August Diaper Drive! We recieved a total of 89 diapers, 8 covers and 3 wool soakers to send to Miracle Diapers! We encourage all businesses and home seamstresses to plan ahead to next year's diaper drive by weeding through old clothing and cutting out diapers from usueable items! We will be accepting donations again in July 2007 and hope to make the next drive an even more smashing success! We loved seeing how old t-shirts, sweatshirts and even sweatpants were turned into very cute, very serviceable diapers for less fortunate families!

What good is a challenge without prizes?

• Each person that participates will receive a free bag of hard candy from the Jewels of Denial!
• The person who donates the most unique diaper will receive a $10.00 gift certificate to the Jewels of Denial!!
• The person who donates the most diapers will receive a $20.00 gift certificate to the Jewels of Denial or a banner advertising spot on the Diaper Decisions Forum during the next diaper hunt!!!
• All participants will have their names listed with hyperlinks to their websites on the "Shirt Off My Back" Diaper Drive page!

Rules and Regulations

1. This drive is for fitted diapers made from recycled materials. Only fitted diapers made from recycled materials will count towards prizes. We will, however, accept any diapers made from any materials and send them to Miracle Diapers.
2. Please ensure that the clothing used to create the donation diapers is clean and relatively free from stains.
3. You may use new or used material for the soaker part of the diaper.
4. Diaper Decisions considers using leftover scraps from other sewing projects recycling.
5. Diapers may be turned and topstitched, serged or sewn with fold over elastic.
6. Diapers may have snap closures, hook and loop closures or no closures.
